The Good Ol' Days

Today We have A Guest Post by

Mason Rudolph

Back in the days when using Google Adwords you could get about 1,000 keywords to use in a specific market, load them in your back office and watch the traffic grow. You would get a lot of visitors and make decent money. But Adwords have changed everything and so have customer knowledge. You can't just market like this anymore and expect profit you have to know the "buyer keywords".

Secret #1:

My reason for using PPC is to start really big in a particular market. To make a big splash!.

Secret #2:

So this is what you do....

Research the keywords the keywords from proven related marketers. I have a seperate email account just to be on opt in lists so I can track my competition. You see no one will use a keyword for months "unless" it's profiable". Keyword Elite is a product you can use to get INSTANT ACCESS to buyer keywords. But it's expensive.

I'll leave you with this...

It takes patience to utilize PPC to it's maximal potential. But once you know the buyer keywords in that particular niche you can make thousands on auto-pilot. You'll have to become a entrepreneur and think like one.

Reasons for using pay per click

To be successful, you have to understand why you're using a particular service in the first place. Today we'll see if Adwords is the marketing service for you.

Adwords is great if...

You're looking for instant results. Traffic is immediate if you have the budget for it

Compared to traditional advertising techniques like radio and television, PPC advertising is relatively cheap, with clicks going for as low as $0.01

Pay Per Click is awesome if you're wanting to test the waters so to speak. It can be used for short term advertising campaigns to decide whether a niche is worth investing in and to test user reaction.

Additionally, Adwords can provide an immediate return on investment if you have a solid ad copy, landing page copy and a good product. The downside is the initial investment required.

However, Adwords is extremely flexible. You can target markets by country, language and a multitude of other settings. Adwords also allows you to filter negative keywords as you go, so you're continually optimising your ad campaigns to get the most from your investment.

Finally, you have a large degree of control over your advertising. You're specifying the budget, what time of the day your ads appear, the ad description letter by letter, as well as the header.
